Bryan Road is not exactly a place; but, it is named after William Jennings Bryan, who ran for President of the U.S. in the early 1900s. The Bryan home is still standing, and is privately owned. To the right is a video that passes by the home. Bryan Road runs north to south through Mission. Taking Bryan Road is one of the fastest ways through town as it has the fewest stoplights. The only bottleneck is near Bryan Elementary during drop-off and pick-up times. Other notable places along the drive are the Mission CISD central office and Mission Regional Medical Center. |
