The Mission FFA Chapter from Mission High School recently participated in the Area 10 FFA Regional Leadership Development events. Their Senior Chapter Conducting Team placed first and has qualified to compete at the state semifinals to be held at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX on December 2.

The team consists of: Jennifer Quintero, president; Vanessa Calderon, vice president; Itzel Lopez, secretary; J.C. Martinez, treasurer; Jose Calderon, reporter; Miguel Vela, sentinel; Johanna Jimenez, advisor; Rolando Hinojosa, member; Sebastian Martinez, member; Renata Bazan, member.

Chapter member Jacob Solis placed seventh in the senior quiz, but will not be advancing
